GPS Tracker mistaken for Explosive Device
Not all flashing lights and batter packs end up being an explosive device. In this article from WSBT in Elkhart, IN an evacuation due to a bomb scare took place when an employee from an industrial supply company mistook a GPS tracker that is used for shipments. The employee saw the package had a battery pack and blinking lights so he sprung into action and threw it in a nearby ditch.
