Meitrack GPS vehicle trackers T366L and TC68L have been selected to take part in a special collaboration project with Toyota Connected, a subsidiary of Toyota Group, along with Microsoft Japan. This IoT project is composed of AI, IoT, and vehicle-to-everything (V2X) which captures and transmits valuable vehicle CAN information.

The project called for dependable and a true robust GPS tracker that can be easily installed in vehicles that use CAN data. The T366L is a 4G network capable tracker that is versatile along with cost-effective. It has become a staple of what a low-cost, dependable GPS tracking device should be. Not only does the T366L collect positioning data but it can also detect harsh driving with acceleration alerts, harsh braking, and rough cornering alerts.

The second GPS tracking device was the TC68L which is a plug-and-play device. This is thanks to the OBDII plug which taps right into the vehicle diagnostics data.

The scope of the project is to transfer real-time valuable data from the vehicle to a central station where it can be analyzed for benefits and performance. This entitled selecting a reputable company such as Meitrack to work alongside two of the biggest companies in the world Toyota and Microsoft. Meitrack has been developing GPS tracking devices for more than 20 years and has been a true pioneer in the industry by leading the way in innovation, and reliability.
